Summary:

VBell is seeking a veteran to lead and manage the Treasury and FP&A functions for our India Business Unit (BU). This role involves overseeing strategic financial operations, ensuring compliance with taxation and statutory guidelines, and aligning financial strategies with the company's mission. The position requires collaboration with accounting teams across India, the US, and Canada, and demands a strong understanding of global taxation and investment regulations.
What you must do:

1.Planning & Recommendation:

Oversee all Indian entities including subsidiaries, Joint Ventures and ensures statutory compliance.

Analyses financial statements, P&L reports and make appropriate recommendations and decisions.

Drive future business initiatives and development with appropriate study and planning. Research, identify and secure new funding opportunities to support growth plans.
2. Compliance & Standardization:

Responsible for the closure of all internal audits, ensure compliance of the entity financial and operational practices with all statutory bodies and corporate policy requirements.

Risk analysis, process controls conforming to corporate policies and reporting, legal requirements, local SSC and US GAAP

Govern Treasury, Tax, Accounting and Legal to prepare and manage all inter-company agreements, BAA, SOWs, etc including Exchange Control laws and RBI requirements of all Indian entities
3. Forecast & Budgeting:

Instrumental in financial modeling, forecasts, budgets that align with current and future business initiatives. Proactively to capture changing economics and business development aspects.

Manage Corporate records, filings with local governing bodies, banks, accruals, reconciliations, financial analysis

Craft remuneration packages and identify opportunities to improve productivity in the workplace.
4. Management & Service Delivery:

Improve finance processes (working capital improvement, reporting processes, transaction processing routines, and internal controls), as well as self-auditing of results.

Support global accounting teams and act as a key contact for regional and global operations, CPAs, Bankers, and providers.

Support with relevant functions such as payroll processing, tax, and benefit controls, PO approvals and compile monthly/ quarterly and annual financial statements.
5. Customer Engagement & Collaboration:

Be the Finance point of contact with our customers, clients, and vendors for all local and international projects.

Manage OPEX, CAPEX and ARP functions for India operations with timely payroll, invoicing and payments.

Participate with cross-functional departments such as Sales, HR, IT, Operations, etc to implement and improve accountability and customer satisfaction.​

What you must have:

Overall 10+yrs experience dealing with corporate finance and at least 2 years in a similar role with exposure to a multi-national footprint.

Thorough grasp into GL accounting, Inventory Control, Fixed & liquid asset appreciation, and depreciation aspects, cash and transactional flow management.

Process-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills. Must be able to coordinate at all levels within the organization including vendors, customers, teams, investors and leadership.

Detail Oriented, Excellent analytical, written and oral communication and presentation skills.

Capable of managing 10 direct reports and support global in-direct reports remotely.

Prior knowledge of any compliance, standards not limited to ISO, HIPAA, SOX, etc. is a plus.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Tally .

Any experience with CRM / ERP applications such as SalesForce, Hubspot and business accounting tools such as QuickBooks, etc. is a plus.
